Recently, a woman in Cottingham, England noticed something unusual outside of her house in the night sky. At around 9 pm, she felt hot and decided to step outside. When she reached the end of her driveway, "there were oval-shaped lights next to each other horizontally and it was very silent. My first thoughts were that I didn't know what they are and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me." She went on to say, "It was bizarre and very unusual. Seconds after I took the photo, it disappeared."
The woman wished to remain anonymous, but said "It was there for 45 seconds to one minute and it didn't move." One of the oval-shaped lights suddenly disappeared, then the other faded away. She spoke to her neighbors the next morning and while they didn't see the lights the night before, their patio was covered with soil in the morning.
She sent the photo off to her friend Leslie Kean, who is an investigative journalist. Kean is also a New York Times bestselling author and wrote the book titled "UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record."
Kean believed it was "most likely a UFO sighting." Using her industry connections, Kean was able to send the photo to a lab, which analyzed the photo and released results supporting the UFO theory.
There have been many sightings in and around Cottingham which is very close to Hull, another English city that has experienced UFO sightings in the past, the most recent of which occurred only a few weeks after this sighting in Cottingham.
