UFOs off the East Coast of the United States
Dave C. Beaty, a documentary filmmaker, released evidence that the USS Kearsarge encountered two giant, hovering balls of light for several nights in October 2021. The United States military has been increasingly open about experiences officers have had with visits from UFOs.
Background on the USS Kearsarge
The Kearsarge is a 40,500 ton amphibious assault ship that is 840 feet long. It was launched in 1992 and has been deployed to mostly the Mediterranean, but has also served in the Indian and north Atlantic Oceans.
At the time of the UFO sightings, the Kearsarge was training for an upcoming overseas deployment with weapons systems designed to take down enemy drones. Included in the weapons onboard were anti-drone backpacks similar to the "Ghostbusters" style as well as anti-drone systems mounted on vehicles.
The events of October 2021
The desk watch was the first to spot the lights, and Marines on board recorded the incident.
According to reports, it appears that at least two, car-sized balls of light lurked near the warship for several nights in a row.
The lights followed the ship about half a mile back, and hovered about 200 feet above the ocean. They made "swooping maneuvers" as they followed.
