Nope, a new movie directed by Jordan Peele was released in theaters a few days ago! Have you seen it yet? It's about two siblings who inherit a ranch when a nickel inexplicably falls from the sky and kills their father, Otis Haywood Sr., who trained and handled horses for film and television productions.
Otis Haywood Jr. (OJ) does his best to keep the business afloat and further his father's legacy, but his brother Emerald (Em) goes looking for fame and fortune in Hollywood.
Later, the brothers discover a UFO after their electricity began fluctuating and some horses were disappearing or acting strange...
Jordan Peele
Nope is Jordan Peele's third directorial film, after Get Out (2017) and Us (2019). He won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and was nominated for Best Picture and Best Director for Get Out.
He also produced Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman (2018) and received another Best Picture nomination for that film.
In 2017, he was included in the Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world.
All three of Peele's feature films have debuted at #1 at the domestic box office.
